Work Experience
Senior Data Scientist, Marketing and Data Science
Working with industry leading Marketing / Data Science and software development teams to expand the analytical, data processing, and product offerings of an international custom market research firm. Examples of significant contributions include:
- 50%+ reduction in labor costs per project by acting as lead developer on internal R shiny tools to automate common analytic tasks.
- Built internal R packages within an agile development framework to expand product offerings and capabilities to include mixed effect modeling, hierarchical bayesian regression, machine learning, time series methods, and more
- Helped develop an analytic framework and tools for a new product offering in R and Python analyzing digital journeys of participant web browsing behaviors
- Consult with VP level and above stakeholders to develop advanced analytical plans to best meet clients’ research needs
- Developed R courses covering fundamentals of statistical programming in R as well as introducing advanced topics (e.g., parallelization, optimization, etc.) to the Marketing and Data Science department
